The Lending Library Lift-Off at Elloree Elementary School

The Lending Library Lift-Off is our district's effort in closing the 30 million word gap.  Children who grow up in more talkative homes will have heard 30 million more words than children who come from less talkative homes.  Books and scanner software were purchased to allow each Child Development classroom to "lend" books to the children so their parents can talk more, listen more, read more, and praise more.
